In a strange technological turn of events, I typed up this blog entry on a computer that decided stubbornly to refuse to connect to the internet. Moreover, it refused to allow me to copy it to an external storage device. So I did what any equally-stubborn person would do and took a photograph of the essay, in six parts.
Whether the content deserves such an effort remains to be seen.
